Construction to Begin on New University Warehouse

Georgia Southern is building a new $8 million University Warehouse to handle its storage needs. The Central Warehouse will be a 58,000 square-foot pre-engineered metal building with a loading dock on the rear of building and an office building attached to the front. The warehouse will house Central Receiving, Surplus, ETS, Communication Arts storage, Museum storage, Records and Archives, Procurement and an Archaeology Repository. The project is presently in the design stage with an expected construction start of August 6, 2015 and an expected completion date of March 2016. The new warehouse will be the first building on Georgia Southern’s south campus.
