Child and Family Development Professor named to Work Group

[caption id="attachment_5835" align="alignleft" width="143"]Hall_Aliceedit Alice Hall, Ph.D.[/caption] Alice Hall, Ph.D., associate professor of child and family development in the School of Human Ecology, was recently named to the Workforce Knowledge and Competencies (WKCs) Work Group by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL). The work group will be responsible for revising and/or rewriting the Workforce Knowledge Competencies that are used to articulate the knowledge and skills that early care and education professionals should possess. These competencies are used statewide to help guide the development of trainings and professional learning opportunities for early care and education professionals. Hall’s keen interest and investment in early care and education in Georgia helped her stand out as a candidate for the work group.
