Diversity speaker Maura Cullen to visit campus

MSC10470_Increasing Diversity Competence with Maura Cullen 1200x900 (1) The Multicultural Student Center presents Increasing Diversity Competence with Maura Cullen, on Tuesday, Sept. 27.   The author of 35 Dumb Things Well-Intended People Say: Surprising Things We Say That Widen The Diversity Gap, Cullen has been referred to as the best there is at simplifying the complex issues of diversity in an entertaining and educational manner. Since 1987, Cullen has been capturing the hearts and minds of people with her dynamic seminars and speaking engagements throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. She is considered one of the foremost authorities on issues of diversity and leadership, having worked with more than 500 organizations with audiences ranging from eight to 8,000 people. This event is in the Russell Union Theater at 6 and 8 p.m.  Proof of Attendance cards will be available to students. This event is a part of the FYE Success Series and is free and open to the public.
