University Store launches rewards program

Students, faculty and staff can now earn reward points by shopping at the University Store through the U Count Rewards Program. U Count members will earn one point for every dollar spent at the University Store and University Store Paulson on the Statesboro Campus as well as purchases made online. For every 100 rewards points earned, members will receive a $2 discount that can be used toward any University Store purchase in store and online. Enrollment in the program is simple. Customers can sign up to earn rewards by providing their Eagle Card (for students and faculty/staff) or phone number either in the store or online via their customer account profile. Once registered, rewards accumulate automatically with each purchase and are available for use within seven days. Rewards points are redeemable for up to five years A rewards program has long been a goal for the store, and implementation of a new point-of-sale system has made it possible “We wanted to give something back to those customers who think of us for textbooks or who come to us for their Georgia Southern Eagle apparel, and we feel this is the best way to do that,” said Carlita Slatky, director of the University Store. “The more business you do with us, the more we can give back to you. In less than one month, 862 customers were registered during a soft launch of the program in November. This number has jumped to more than 4,500 enrolled customers during the first week of the 2018 spring semester with more than 660,000 points earned and 8,000 points redeemed For more information, or to register for the U Count Rewards Program, visit GSUstore.com.
