Learn about ethics and compliance reporting, meet the staff in the Office of Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance
In recognition of Internal Audit Awareness Month, the Office of Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance (IARC) wants to introduce its staff and also remind the University community about the Ethics and Compliance Reporting HotLine.
Katrina McNair, Sterling Ives, Kelly Crosby and Kesha Ward make up the IARC staff. You can learn more about each of them by clicking here.
The Ethics and Compliance Reporting HotLine is Georgia Southern's confidential method to report any concerns about the University. The HotLine is a third-party reporting service, which means the University does not have access to your identity when you make a report unless you choose to provide that information.
You can make a report by calling the HotLine (1-877-516-3445) or making a report online. If you use the phone, trained communication specialists will ask a series of questions to obtain the information needed. The third-party vendor, Navex Global, can take reports in multiple languages including Spanish, Portuguese, German, Afrikaans, Japanese and many others.
If you file a report with the HotLine, you will be given a report number and can create a password to get updates. Please allow one to two days for an initial response. If there any questions, they will be posted on the website (and can be read to you if you call the phone number). Responses to any questions can be posted to the website like a bulletin board or will be entered by the communication specialist at Navex Global. When the report is closed, you will also have access to any notes provided by the investigator (subject to privacy rules).
The Ethics and Compliance Reporting HotLine is not an emergency response system. If you need immediate help, please call Public Safety or 911.
