Walking team from Division of Enrollment Management places first of all Georgia Southern teams in USG Walking Challenge

Members of the GS-EM Team Blue USG Walking Challenge Team

Ten employees from the Division of Enrollment Management logged more than 5 million steps to take first place for Georgia Southern University in the University System of Georgia (USG) Walking Challenge. 

The team GS-EM Team Blue logged a total of 5,032,188 steps during the challenge, which began in March and concluded in April. The team also placed 13th among teams across all USG institutions.

GS-EM Team Blue member Rebecca Fields was the top stepper for Georgia Southern and logged 1,260,000. Additionally, staff member Sharon Wilson won the FitBit drawing.  

In addition to Fields, GS-EM Team Blue members included John Adkins, Amy Ballagh, Ph.D., Rochelle Cote, Linda Covino, Blake Mercer, Deidra Newson, Kirsten Rappa, Briana Riggs and Paul Smith.

Another walking challenge is planned for the fall.
