Register for Teachers Retirement System of Georgia pre-retirement workshop and counseling sessions
Representatives from the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia (TRS) will be on the Statesboro Campus Sept. 19-21 to conduct pre-retirement workshops and counseling sessions.
Registration for the workshop and counseling sessions begins Aug. 20.
In the one-hour workshop on Sept. 19, employees will learn about planning and applying for retirement to help ensure success. This workshop is open to anyone enrolled in the TRS retirement plan.
TRS will also conduct individual pre-retirement counseling sessions on the Statesboro Campus Sept. 20-21. These sessions are by appointment only and fill up quickly. The one-on-one counseling sessions are primarily for members who are within two years of retirement.

In November, TRS will host an additional workshop and individual counseling sessions on the Armstrong Campus. There will be more information on these dates in the future.
