Important payroll reminder for Labor Day holiday
Due to the Sept. 5 Labor Day holiday, the Sept. 9 bi-weekly payroll will be processed early.
Bi-weekly paid employees and managers
The first bi-weekly September payroll for Aug. 21 though Sept. 3 will process early. Hours must be estimated for Friday, Sept. 2, through Saturday, Sept. 3, if working. The employee must record, enter or request time off by the end of day Sept. 1. The manager must approve all bi-weekly timecards before 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 2. Pay date is Friday, Sept. 9.
Exception: Federal work study students are not legally allowed to estimate hours worked. Any adjustments for work study students will need to be entered into the employee’s timecard by the manager once the payroll has processed and timecards are unlocked on Sept. 7.
