WCHP doctoral student Eleasa Milano earns first place in poster competition
Eleasa Milano, a student in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in the Waters College of Health Professions, won first place in the DNP category on her research project, “Reducing Psychotic Relapse Through Family Education: A DNP Project," at the 2023 Georgia Nursing Leadership Coalition Doctoral Symposium in Decatur, Georgia.
Milano’s poster was one of more than 40 posters submitted to the competition. Her research was completed under the guidance of Alan Skipper, DNP, assistant professor in the School of Nursing.
