Institute for Health Logistics & Analytics accepting applications for Faculty Fellows Program

The Institute for Health Logistics & Analytics (IHLA) at Georgia Southern University is accepting applications for its Faculty Fellows Program to further the mission of the institute, which is to transform the health and wellbeing of our communities through applied evidence-based practices and technology integration. 

Specifically, the purpose of this program is to:

  • Foster networking and collaboration opportunities across multiple disciplines to improve the health of all species;
  • Engage with a diverse and dynamic community of people who are interested in advancing the IHLA mission;
  • Enhance research through interdisciplinary grant submissions and manuscripts;
  • Support IHLA service through participation in training and education opportunities.

The Fellows will be asked to contribute to the work of the Institute, participate in IHLA-sponsored events, and assist in the development of a robust faculty, staff and student affiliate program for implementation in the next academic year. Each Fellow will receive a one-course buyout for Spring 2024 and $5,000 for Summer 2024 with the possibility of renewal for the next academic year. 

While IHLA is specifically looking for expertise in the broad categories of Healthy Workforce, Healthy Communities, Resource Efficiency and Disaster Preparedness, Health Analytics and Informatics, we welcome applications from any faculty from any department or college who wish to enthusiastically contribute to the success of our mission.
