Office of Financial Aid to host virtual brown bag sessions for changes to FAFSA
The Office of Financial Aid will host three virtual brown bag sessions to discuss upcoming changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process. The sessions, scheduled for Nov. 21, Dec. 14 and Jan. 16, will offer information on FAFSA simplification and explore the when, the why and the potential impacts of these changes.
During this informative session, Financial Aid team members will:
- Provide an overview of the upcoming FAFSA simplification changes.
- Discuss the timeline for implementation.
- Explain the reasons behind these changes and their significance.
- Analyze the potential impacts on students and our institution.
- Answer any questions you may have regarding these changes.
This session will be beneficial for all staff and faculty members, as a thorough understanding of these changes will help us better support our students and adapt to the evolving financial aid landscape.
