Events submitted to Eagle Engage now automatically submitted to University Events Calendar

In an effort to make sharing events with the University community more efficient, as of Jan. 8  any events submitted to Eagle Engage will automatically be submitted to a pending queue on the University Events Calendar at which time calendar administrators can review and publish the events. All events previously submitted to Eagle Engage have been migrated to the University Events Calendar.

There are varying levels of University Events Calendar administrative permissions. Event admins are expected to review and approve any events, including those submitted through Eagle Engage, for their department.

Individuals and departments who do not currently use Eagle Engage will still be able to submit events to the University Events Calendar directly through the submission form.

All Eagle Engage organizational admin users will receive an email about this new enhancement, but should also review this How To Guide to walk through the process. If you are a department who hosts student-facing events and are not a current department using Eagle Engage, the How To Guide will help you register an account.
