Call for Governor’s Honors Program Audition Day volunteers and departmental vendors

Georgia Southern University is honored to host the 2025 Governor's Honors Program (GHP), an elite residential summer program for skilled, knowledgeable and talented high school sophomores and juniors.

In preparation for this summer’s program, we are seeking student, faculty and staff volunteers to assist with the upcoming Semifinalist Audition Day, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 1.

During audition day, Georgia Southern will host roughly 1,400 students and their families on campus in Statesboro. Students will audition and interview in their respective areas for a spot in this year's summer program. Organizers will select 650 to 700 students to participate in the program in Statesboro from June 15 to July 12. Areas of nomination can be found here.

If you are interested in participating in the audition day as a volunteer, please click here. Additional opportunities will be available for volunteers during the summer.

While students audition, family members can learn more about what Georgia Southern has to offer. Families will be invited to visit with departments at the Military Science Building during their student's audition/interview.

If your department is interested in participating, please provide your information here. Each department will be equipped with a vendor table and two chairs at the Military Science Building. Spaces are limited so please make sure to sign up at your earliest convenience if you are interested.
