Jessica Williamson has been named Associate Vice President for Enrollment and Student Success and will lead Georgia Southern University’s regional access campuses.

Williamson is a graduate of both East Georgia State College and Georgia Southern University, and she has served both institutions with distinction. She previously served as Director of the Statesboro Center for East Georgia, where she played an integral role in creating the Bobcat to Eagle program, which strengthened the pathway for students between the two institutions. In January 2022, she joined Georgia Southern as the Director of the Academic Success Center, where she has led institution-wide initiatives, including work with the National Institute for Student Success and the Strategic Enrollment Plan.

Since the inception of the Division of Enrollment, Marketing, and Student Success (EMSS), Williamson has played a critical leadership role in developing and implementing the division’s guiding values, behaviors, mission and vision. She also served as the primary architect of the EMSS Strategic Performance Framework, helping translate big university goals and objectives into actionable measures at every level of the division, which drives the division’s student-centered, outcomes-driven approach.

Williamson brings leadership, institutional knowledge and unwavering passion for student success to this role. She will now lead enrollment and student success strategies across the institution’s regional access campuses, ensuring every student has the opportunity and support to thrive through their educational journey.
