Student Success Locker helps students access essential class supplies
Students in need of classroom essentials like notebooks, pens, sticky notes or index cards can find support through the Academic Success Center’s Student Success Locker.
Located on the Statesboro, Liberty and Armstrong campuses, the Student Success Locker is a resource available to help students be fully prepared for their courses. The Locker was implemented in the spring of 2025, and more than 200 students have visited since its opening.
Many students have expressed appreciation for the locker's support. One student shared, “I found more things I didn’t even know I needed. Thank you so much!”
"The Locker was created and implemented to reduce the lack of access to essential school supplies for all students," explained Leslie Harris, Ed.D., assistant director of Student Success - Armstrong. "The Locker is intended for those who are in need."
The locker is available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students can stop by at any of the locations during this time. The Statesboro campus locker is located in Suite 1303 at Henderson Library, the Armstrong campus locker is located at the Student Success Complex, and the Liberty campus locker is located at the Liberty Center.
The Student Success Locker is currently accepting donations to prepare for finals and to better serve students. The most needed items include scantrons, composition notebooks, calculators, line paper and miniature whiteboards. The Locker also has an Amazon Wishlist. Donations can be delivered to any of the Locker locations.
