Appointments are still available for a COVID-19 vaccine distribution Friday (4/16) in Statesboro. Moderna vaccines will be distributed in the MAC Gym in the RAC on the Statesboro Campus. Appointments must be made online in advance through the MyGS portal. To schedule an appointment for this Friday, go to the MyGS portal and click on the “COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Form” under the heading of “COVID-19 Information and Resources.”

The Moderna vaccine is for anyone 18 years and older and requires two doses to be fully effective. When you sign up for an appointment with Georgia Southern, a second appointment is automatically scheduled.

Starting this week, the Moderna vaccine also will be distributed in Savannah at the Armstrong Center every Tuesday and Thursday through a new Southside COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic hosted by SouthCoast Health and other community partners. To make an appointment at the Southside Clinic, go to www.covidvaxdial311.com.
