Digital Commons@Georgia Southern gets new look

Digital Commons@Georgia Southern, the University’s open-access digital repository, has a newly redesigned website with new features and an improved user experience.
Digital Commons collects, archives and disseminates the intellectual and creative output of the University’s faculty, staff, students and community partners. This digital repository hosts contributions including campus documents and publications, faculty and student research, conferences, journals, research data, news and more.
Nothing is changing within the collections or URLs. The refreshed look provides visitors quick access to Georgia Southern University’s scholarly, online archive.
New features include:
● Enhanced navigation: collections are moved to the top of the Digital Commons landing page and the slideshow is retired.
● Browse research and scholarship by clicking on the blue tiles instead of text-based links.
● Prominent sidebar headings display options to search the repository, browse by author or discipline, learn more, or connect with our services.
● Social media buttons for the University Libraries’ Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube content.
● An image of one of our campuses’ live oak trees in the header at the top of the site.
● Incorporates Georgia Southern’s rebranding with the logo, colors and fonts. Please contact digitalcommons@georgiasouthern.edu for more information.
