Student Accessibility Resource Center, Office of Inclusive Excellence accepting nominations for Access Champions

The Student Accessibility Resource Center (SARC) and the Office of Inclusive Excellence (OIE) are partnering to recognize Access Champions —  those faculty, staff and students who promote access for those with disabilities on Georgia Southern’s campuses.

Creating access for those with disabilities at Georgia Southern University is a community responsibility and value, and SARC and OIE want to know when others are removing barriers and making the campuses more accessible to everyone.

If you have benefited from or are aware of a faculty member, staff member or another student who has removed barriers (i.e., making changes to a course, by thinking beyond a policy, by creating an accessible program, by demonstrating an attitude of openness and understanding, etc.), nominate them as an Access Champion.

Nominations are welcomed on a rolling basis and individuals will be recognized regularly. Click here to nominate someone.
