Complete USG ethics training by Feb. 4

The University System of Georgia (USG) Ethics and Compliance program strives, as one of its primary functions, to promote the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct within the USG and to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.
In order to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities in maintaining the public trust through the discharge of their duties, all employees must complete periodic training on the University System’s Code of Conduct, conflicts of interest and how to report compliance issues.
The annual training has been assigned to all faculty, staff, temporary and student employees in Building a Better U (BBU). It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and should be completed on a computer with speakers or headphones.
To access the training, log into My.GeorgiaSouthern.edu. BBU can be found in the lower right-hand corner, under “Training.” If you have not accessed BBU recently, you will be required to select skills you would like to build so the system can curate content of interest to you (you cannot skip this step).
Step 1: Once logged into BBU, click on the arrow next to your name in the upper right-hand corner.
Step 2: Select Compliance.
Step 3: USG Ethics Training_2022 should be listed as a required course. Click the course to begin.
If you supervise temporary or student employees, please share these instructions with them and follow up to make sure they've completed the training by Feb. 4. Vice presidents will be provided a list of employees not in compliance with completion requirements.
