Register for Teachers Retirement System of Georgia mid-career workshop and pre-retirement individual counseling
Representatives from the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia (TRS) will be on the Statesboro Campus April 4 - 6 to conduct a mid-career workshop and pre-retirement individual counseling sessions.
In the one-hour mid-career workshop on April 4, employees will be provided an overview of TRS services and retirement plans, financial overview of TRS, the importance of being vested, withdrawing your TRS service, calculating your benefit and more. This workshop is open to anyone enrolled in the TRS retirement plan.
TRS will also conduct individual pre-retirement counseling sessions on the Statesboro Campus April 5 - 6. These sessions are by appointment only and fill up quickly. The one-on-one counseling sessions are primarily for members who are within two years of retirement and covers topics including individual benefit estimates, detailed information about TRS retirement options, in-depth information about purchasing service and more.

TRS will host a pre-retirement workshop and individual counseling sessions on the Armstrong Campus on May 2 - 4. There will be more information on this event in the future.
