University Store and Club Colors Make ‘Masters Moment’ for Georgia Southern
Georgia Southern University senior Ben Carr punched his ticket to the 2023 Masters when he finished as the runner-up in the 122nd U.S. Amateur Tournament. As Carr prepares to travel to Augusta, Georgia, University Store staff and Georgia Southern administrators looked for a way to commemorate this prestigious opportunity for Carr and connect our institution to one of the biggest golf tournaments in the country.
That’s where University Store contacted Club Colors, a national provider of premium branding solutions to the corporate and collegiate marketplace. Club Colors delivers innovative, impactful, and creative solutions, and they have been a longstanding partner of University Store when it comes to developing unique branded products. With a short turnaround time, University Store submitted an Augusta-themed design to Club Colors. They then created a limited edition golf hat that captured the essence of the Masters, Augusta and Georgia Southern Men’s Golf.
Whenever a Georgia Southern department purchases products from Club Colors through University Store, a portion of the purchase goes back to the University. If a department orders any promotional items, apparel, etc., part of that cost is returned to the University and reinvested in programs that support student success.
