Employee Wellness Program offers free diabetes prevention program for faculty/staff

The UGA Cooperative Extension and the Georgia Southern Employee Wellness Program have partnered to provide a free PreventT2 (Diabetes Prevention) program to eligible faculty and staff members.

With the PreventT2 Lifestyle Change Program, you will get:

●   A proven program that can cut your risk of developing type 2 diabetes in half.

●   A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – approved curriculum facilitated by a trained lifestyle coach.

●   A year-long program with weekly group meetings for the first 16 weeks, then once or twice a month for 8 months.

●   Support, tools and guidance to assist you in reaching your healthy lifestyle goals.
