Important Information about the Georgia Southern website
Phase 1 of the Georgia Southern website redesign has established a more streamlined external and password-protected (internal) website presence. Internal users can access the internal content of the website by simply entering their Georgia Southern credentials when prompted. They will not notice a difference if they have already logged into their GS account.
As our most important marketing tool, the University’s external website content should be focused on helping us drive enrollment (new and continuing students), advance our research efforts, grow endowment and community support, and help us attract talented faculty and staff.
With those audiences in mind, an intentional external presence and password-protected internal content will enable us to go into our yield season for Fall ‘24 recruitment with a more streamlined external website experience for our students, their families and other stakeholders.
This will be an ongoing process that will continue this year when Carnegie helps us finalize the website redesign in the fall.
The password-protected internal content is now accessible. Again, if you are logged into the system with a Georgia Southern username and password, you will be able to navigate through all site content seamlessly.
What you need to know:

- To access the internal content, you will be prompted to use your Georgia Southern credentials to move through the external presence to the password-protected content.
