Call for Governor’s Honors Program Audition Day Volunteers and Departmental Vendors
Georgia Southern University is honored to host the 2024 Governor's Honors Program (GHP), an elite residential summer program for skilled, knowledgeable, and talented high school sophomores and juniors.
In preparation for GHP 2024, we will host Audition Day for GHP semifinalists on the Statesboro campus on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Students invited to participate in Audition Day have demonstrated high aptitude and high interest in one of GHP’s areas of nomination. During auditions, family members can learn more about what Georgia Southern has to offer. Auditions and interviews will take place in several locations throughout the Statesboro Campus, and families will be invited to visit with departments in the Nessmith Lane building during their student's audition/interview.
Our warm welcome and hospitality are crucial to creating a positive experience for more than 1,400 students and their families. We invite you to volunteer for Audition Day and be a part of making this day truly memorable for our guests. Those interested should complete the volunteer sign-up form by February 9.
Any departments interested in participating by hosting an information table for visiting families, please provide your information here. Each department will be equipped with a vendor table and two chairs outside of the Nessmith Lane Ballroom. Spaces are limited, so please make sure to sign up early.
