Francisco Lugo, Ed.D., elected as chair of NASPA Fraternity and Sorority Knowledge Community

Francisco Lugo, Ed.D., director of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Georgia Southern University, has been elected to serve as the incoming chair of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Fraternity and Sorority Knowledge Community (FSKC). His official term will run from March 2025 to March 2027.
As chair of the FSKC, Lugo will oversee the development and advancement of fraternity and sorority life across universities and colleges. In his new role, Lugo will continue to advocate for positive growth, development and the overall wellbeing of fraternities and sororities, working with a diverse community of experts and student affairs professionals.
“I am truly honored to serve as the incoming chair for the NASPA Fraternity and Sorority Knowledge Community,” said Lugo. “Fraternity and sorority life plays a critical role in shaping the student experience, and I look forward to collaborating with colleagues across the country to ensure that these communities continue to evolve in ways that benefit both students and institutions.”
Lugo has been deeply involved in fraternity and sorority life for over a decade, guiding students toward leadership opportunities, personal growth and service to their campuses. He works to foster a sense of belonging at Georgia Southern University and is a committed advocate for the development of student affairs.
