Introducing Slate: Shaping the future of student support at Georgia Southern
Georgia Southern University is excited to introduce Slate, a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system designed to strengthen connections with students, faculty, and staff. A CRM brings together important information and interactions into one platform, helping us better support student success and streamline communication across campus.
This implementation of Slate Student Success directly supports Georgia Southern’s Strategic Enrollment strategy of Comprehensive, Coordinated, and Differentiated Care, ensuring that every interaction—from recruitment to graduation—aligns with our goals of improving the student experience, enhancing retention, and fostering long-term success.
As part of a day-long visit with our partners at Carnegie, campus community members are invited to attend one of three demonstration sessions on Friday, Oct. 10. These sessions will provide an inside look at the portals currently being built, highlight features specific to faculty and staff, and give attendees the chance to share feedback that will shape Slate before it launches.
Portal Demo (including Student Portal) – 10 a.m. – noon, Nessmith-Lane Ballroom
Faculty Demo – 1-2 p.m., Performing Arts Auditorium
Portal Demo 2 – 2-3 p.m., Performing Arts Auditorium
