Southern Drive on Statesboro Campus will close afternoons of Dec. 1, 2 for graduate photos
Southern Drive on the Statesboro Campus will be closed for traffic exiting the University on Monday, Dec. 1, and Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 5 p.m., to provide our graduating students with the opportunity to take their photos on Sweetheart Circle in a safer environment.
Anyone who parks on or near Sweetheart Circle that day will not be able to exit on the Circle between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Instead, traffic will be routed behind Sanford Hall, through the baseball parking lot (Lot 13) and exit campus by the tennis courts onto Fair Road. (Please see map below).
Thank you in advance for your patience as we try to provide graduating students with a safe opportunity to take their graduation photos.
