Pizza for Prose — National Day on Writing Activities Wednesday Oct. 20, Lakeside Cafe

The National Council of Teacher's of English celebrates October 20th as the National Day on Writing.  From traditionally understood forms and venues of writing to texting, IMing, and blogging, writing in its many forms has become an increasingly pervasive activity of daily life.

As part of the National Day on Writing Activities, The Department of Writing and Linguistics and the Georgia Southern University National Writing Project are hosting a write-in from 11 - 2 at Lakeside Cafe!  Designed as an opportunity for writers from every walk of life to pause and share their work, we will have writing materials, including laptops and writing prompts, available for participants -- pizza will be given, on a first-come first-serve basis, to folks who join the writing activities.
