University Hosts Open Forum on Blackboard Learn November 11
Georgia Southern is excited to host Blackboard, Inc. as they present a session on their current learning management system, Blackboard Learn. Blackboard, Inc. provides Georgia Southern University with our current learning management system, GeorgiaVIEW.
By now, you may have seen messaging about the University System of Georgia’s intent to replace GeorgiaVIEW by January 2013. The Information Technology Advisory Council here at Georgia Southern is supporting the efforts of a USG Taskforce but will also make a separate recommendation to the Georgia Southern administration about what is best for us.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend and participate in this open forum session to better understand potential future options as well as provide feedback on important features. The forum will take place in the Nursing/Chemistry Building Room 1002 from 3 to 5 p.m., Nov. 11.
