Recent Georgia Southern Graduate Named Omicron Delta Kappa National Leader of the Year

Georgia Southern University graduate Nathan Graves has been named one of the top three National Leaders of the year by Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Collegiate Leadership Honor Society.

Graves was selected among nominations from 35 other O?K chapters nationwide. He is one of three students chosen for the prestigious General Russell E. Dougherty award which recognizes outstanding leadership.

As an undergraduate, Graves’ was the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award as well as numerous awards for his work as a residence hall assistant. Graves also served as Georgia Southern’s O?K Circle president, was a member of the marching band, and built and maintained the website for WVGS 91.9, the University’s radio station.

The Athens, Ga., native graduated in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology and plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree.
