University’s Chapter of Golden Key International Honor Society Achieves Highest Level of Standards
Georgia Southern University’s Golden Key International Honor Society was awarded the Gold Level of Chapter Standards, by satisfying the highest level of standards requirements in academics, leadership and service.
During the past academic year, members worked to attain the highest level of chapter standards by fulfilling a wide range of requirements. Some of these included achievements in networking, diverse service projects, member engagement, producing timely activity reports and collaboration with other student organizations. The chapter also used innovative methods to create an external face identifying with the community. Golden Key officers Walter Dixon, Cynthia Brown, Demetrius McNelly, Kristina Rankine and Abeni Peyton attended webinars on new methods promoting integrity among members.
A diverse group of exceptional scholars make up the Georgia Southern chapter of Golden Key International Honor Society, which has more than 2 million members and 390 chapters at colleges and universities worldwide. Members are offered exclusive opportunities and connections through $1 million dollars in scholarships and awards, partnerships with major corporations, career advancement and graduate programs. The organization works closely with faculty and administrators across the world to maintain the highest standards of education for students who share their vision for a life of promise, and a chance to shape the world.
