Student Parking Permits For Sale April 10
The Parking & Transportation department will begin selling student parking permits for the 2013-2014 academic year on Wednesday, April 10 and the permits must be purchased online through the my.georgiasouthern.edu portal>My Services>Parking (Parking permits) link, located just below the MyApps email link.The location of the parking lot determines the price of the permit. Most student permits are $150 for the entire 2013-2014 academic year. The following lots are $100:
- Lot 12 located near the Sports Complex (near the Football Offices)
- Lot 43 located across the street from the BP gas station on Hwy 301. The entrance is right behind Public Safety.
- The Recreation Activity Center(RAC) parking area
“They are less expensive due to their location. We like to offer different options for our students, especially those willing to walk a little further,” says Kristi Bryant, director of Parking & Transportation.
“Lot 41 (located between the IT Building,
Center for Arts and Theatre and Carroll Building) and lot 32 (located at the
corner of Plant Drive and Forest Drive) sell out quickly. If a student is
interested in either of those lots, I would encourage them to purchase those
permits on April 10,” says Kristi Bryant,
Faculty/staff permits are not available at this time. Facutly/Staff enrolled in
the payroll deduction option will be automatically renewed. Email notifications will be sent to
individuals that need to visit the office to renew.
