CRI’s Licensed Massage Therapists Provide Service at Best Price in Town

The Recreation Activity Center (RAC) may be the place you visit to take a swim, run on the indoor track or attend a fitness class, but those aren’t the only activities you can participate in to relieve tension and stress. Massage therapy is offered too!

With 15 years of combined experience, Campus Recreation and Intramurals (CRI) provides three licensed massage therapists, who specialize in a variety of techniques including Swedish, sports, neuromuscular, hot stone and deep tissue massages. Anyone with a valid Georgia Southern University Eagle ID can make an appointment, and the service is available to RAC and non-RAC members.

The massages are available in 30 and 60-minute increments, and faculty, staff and students may choose to treat themselves to a combination of the sessions for a maximum total of a 90-minute massage.

Prices vary depending on membership:

RAC Members 1/2 Hour = $25
1 Hour = $50

Non-Members 1/2 Hour = $40
1 Hour = $60

Fitness Coordinator, Justine Coleman who manages the massage therapy program says many clients have reported a reduction in pain after experiencing the service.  “A massage is perfect for stress relief and relaxation. We have a vested interest in what participants need at the time. The price here is the best in town, and we customize the experience based on your health and wellness needs,” she says.

Though a valid Eagle ID is required to receive the service, parents may schedule an appointment for their child. To learn more about the massage therapists, acceptable forms of payment, or how to schedule an appointment, visit the Campus Recreation and Intramurals website.

The service is open only to the campus community and not available to the public at this time.
