Summer Archery Program Now Offered at The RAC
Campus Recreation & Intramurals is now
offering a summer, indoor archery program. The three-week course meets twice a week and is led by certified archery instructors.
“Our goal is to have each participant leave class with the knowledge,
confidence and safety to continue their interest in the sport of archery. We always strive to offer new and
diverse programs and we’re especially excited about this pilot program because it’s
a reflection of the kinds of programs we'll be able to offer once the Shooting
Sports Education Center is completed,” says Chris Butler, assistant director of
marketing and communications for Campus Recreation & Intramurals.
No previous archery experience is required to participate. The program is open to ages fourth grade – adulthood, and prices vary based on archery classification.
