The Garden of the Coastal Plain at Georgia Southern University is hosting the great Plant Sale and Expert Expo today, Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26.
Find plants especially chosen by the Garden to thrive in Southeast Georgia’s unique conditions. Fabulous edibles, shrubs, roses, camellias and plenty of plants for pots will be available. Shop early Friday from 2 – 6 p.m. for best selection, or come on Saturday for free cookies! Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., experts from Wise Nurseries, Thomson's Nurseries, Action Lawn and Landscaping and local beekeepers will look at your pictures and answer your questions about landscaping, hardscaping and those ultimate home builders, bees. Bring a glass container and build a terrarium with the pros from Colonial House of Flowers for a jump on your holiday giving!
