Ed.D in Curriculum Studies Information Session

Ed.D in Curriculum Studies Information Session

The College of Education is hosting an information session on the Doctor of Education in Curriculum Studies degree program tonight at 5 p.m. in Russell Union, Room 2042. The session is entitled Rethink Education, Rethink the World.

What is Curriculum Studies?
Curriculum Studies offers students the opportunity to look critically into a broad range of issues through an interdisciplinary and global lens. The program intertwines the historical, psychological, ethical and cultural concepts underpinning our complex and intertwined social fabric. The broader aim of curriculum studies is to favorably influence the children and youth of society who must be empowered to make both reactive and proactive adjustments to their social worlds. To do so requires both an understanding of the past and present, and a vision of a better future.

Who earns an Ed.D. in Curriculum Studies?
The principles of numerous disciplines including those in liberal arts and technology are incorporated in curriculum studies. Recent doctoral graduates have advanced in academic positions, within K-12 schools and as private consultants. Learn more.
