Annual Holiday Dinner Features Lamb, Goose and an Opportunity to Win $50 Dining Dollars

Eagle Dining Services is kicking off the holiday season this week with the Annual Holiday Dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 5 – 8 p.m.  Students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the Statesboro community and family members are encouraged to join the fun!

“We are pleased to continue our tradition of offering a holiday dinner for our campus community. This year is especially exciting because we are able to host our many guests in our brand new Dining Commons. We hope that students, faculty and staff will come and join in the great menu and festive occasion with us,” says Jeff Yawn, director of Eagle Dining Services.

A holiday-inspired menu will be served, and a sugary Winter Wonderland will be on display. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite gingerbread house, and participate in festive activities including a “Count the Peppermints” contest for a chance to win up to $50 dining dollars.

Here’s what’s for dinner:

  • Herb and Pine Nut Crusted Rack of Lamb with Apple Brandy Demi Glaze
  • Grilled Sea Bass

  • Rotisserie Goose with a Plum Hollandaise Sauce
  • Spinach & Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms
