Alcohol Awareness Event Wednesday, Jan. 29

Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Division’s Office of Alcohol & Other Drugs Programs will sponsor the AAA Auto Club Drunk Driving Simulator and Mothers Against Drunk Driving Victim Impact Panel on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The simulator, which will be in the Russell Union Common Area all afternoon, will allow students to experience the first hand effects of impaired driving. Members of the Victim Impact Panel will share personal stories about how their lives have been affected by an impaired driver in Russell Union, Rm. 2041, from 6 – 8 p.m.
The Office of Alcohol & Other Drugs Programs promotes healthy decisions, provides services to students concerned about their alcohol and other drug use and helps students who must satisfy judicial or student conduct sanctions. The Office also plans, implements and evaluates prevention programming, which aims to decrease the negative impact that alcohol and other drug use can have on our community.
