Cheerleader For A Day Event is Feb. 15

  The Georgia Southern cheerleaders are gearing up for Cheerleader For A Day, an event sponsored by the Georgia Southern University Cheer Program. On Saturday, Feb. 15, girls ages four to 14 will gather for the day camp at Hanner Fieldhouse to learn cheers, chants and cheerleading skills from Eagle cheerleaders. After the coaching sessions, snacks will be provided before the Georgia Southern basketball players take the court. During halftime, day camp attendees will have the opportunity to perform cheers with Georgia Southern’s mascot, GUS and Eagle cheerleaders.
