Scholar Athletes Earn Recognition
During Basketball Game
Georgia Southern Athletics honored more than 200 student-athletes as Scholar
Athletes recently during a weather-delayed basketball game against The
University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
The 211 student-athletes each had a grade point average of
3.0 or better in the fall semester and were recognized for their academic
achievements during the Thursday afternoon men's basketball contest at Hanner
Fieldhouse.
The teams represented include the following:
- Baseball Team
- Football Team
- Men's and Women's Basketball Team
- Golf Team
- Men's and Women's Soccer Team
- Men's and Women's Tennis Team
- Rifle Team
- Softball Team
- Volleyball Team
- Swimming and Diving Team
- Track and Field Team
