Mandatory Meeting for Football Walk-on Candidates Wednesday 

A mandatory information meeting for students interested in walking on to the Georgia Southern Eagles football team will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. at the Parrish Building, 651 Fair Road. Candidates must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the spring 2014 semester, and must bring the following required documents to the meeting:

• Copy of student’s spring 2014 class schedule verifying full-time enrollment
• A copy of a physical exam conducted within six months of March 5 tryout date
• Copy of the front and back of a medical insurance card
• Signed originals of the required sports medicine forms

Candidates who do not present the required documents will not be permitted to try out. For more information about the meeting, required documents or tryouts, contact Dynamite Kuhn at 912-478-5522. Participants must meet NCAA eligibility standards and agree and comply with the Georgia Southern and NCAA drug testing policy.
