Georgia Southern Shows True Blue Spirit During the 2014 St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The Eagle Nation became Irish for the day during the 190th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah, Ga. on Monday, March 17. University President Brooks Keel and first lady Tammie Schalue were cheered on by alumni, students and True Blue supporters lining the parade route. This year’s float featured the Southern Pride Marching Band, the University’s mascot Gus and Miss Georgia Southern Melissa Royal.
