Alumni Association Launches “40 Under 40” Recognition Program
The Georgia Southern University Alumni Association has launched the 2014 “40 Under 40” recognition program to honor young alumni who are leading the way in business, leadership, community, educational and/or philanthropic endeavors.
Chosen by a selection committee based on their professional
expertise and achievements, as well as dedication to charitable and community
initiatives, recipients will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday,
Sept. 26.
“Georgia Southern has some outstanding graduates and our young alumni are no exception,” said Wendell Tompkins, senior director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. “We are excited to recognize the under 40 group for not only their leadership in their personal and professional lives, but for their True Blue spirit. This group represents the very best of Georgia Southern alumni.”
