Apply Now for the Staff Council Scholarship and Book Award

Staff Council is now accepting applications for the third annual Staff Council Scholarship and Book Award. The Staff Council Scholarship is available to currently enrolled dependents and spouses of full-time staff members. The Book Award is available to full-time staff members currently seeking a degree. “We are excited to be able to offer these awards through donations made to the Georgia Southern University Foundation, “A Day for Southern” and fundraising events such as spring raffle,” said Kendria Lee, information analyst who works in the Zach S. Henderson Library. The application period for the 2014-2015 academic year is July 14 - 31. Recipients will be selected through a name drawing and notified by e-mail in the first week of August. “As a special note, when “A Day for Southern” comes around again this year, consider donating to this worthy cause,” said Lee.
