Make Your Room True Blue

Operation Move-In is oh-so-close, and we hope you're getting ready to move to your new home in Statesboro and officially become an Eagle! To celebrate and help our new students get into the True Blue spirit, we’re hosting a room decorating Instagram contest. We encourage students to decorate their new rooms as True Blue as possible! From Georgia Southern flags to blue pillows to DIY blue, white and gold projects, we want to see your version of True Blue! The top three entries will win a True Blue prize pack with gift cards, True Blue items, Georgia Southern gear and more!  How to enter:

• Take a photo of your True Blue room.
• Tag @georgiasouthernuniversity on Instagram.
• Use #myTrueBlueNest in your caption and tell us what True Blue means to you.
• Get your friends and family to like your photo!
• The three photos that meet all the criteria listed above and receive the most likes will win!

Deadline: Students can begin submitting photos on Operation Move-in Day, Aug. 14. The deadline to submit entries for the contest will be Thursday, Aug. 20. Photos posted after Aug. 20 will not be considered. Rules:

• All photos or decorations must adhere to policies in place by University Housing.
• Photos containing profanity, nudity, other obscenities or vandalism of rooms will not be judged and will be flagged as inappropriate.
• Winner must be an enrolled student.

NOTE: In addition to being featured on the Georgia Southern University Instagram account, selected photos, including all winning images, may be featured on Georgia Southern websites and other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Participation constitutes agreement to these terms. Prizes: True Blue prize packs will be given to the top three photos with the most likes. Prizes include: True Blue towel, poster, coffee mug, a Georgia Southern window cling, a $25 gift card and much more! Georgia Southern will announce the contest winner on Instagram by reposting the winning photo and username on the agency’s Instagram account, along with instructions on how to pick up your prize.
