College of Education hosts Future Georgia Educators Day for high school students on Oct. 6
Georgia Southern University’s College of Education will host a Future Georgia Educators Day on Tuesday, Oct. 6, presented by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) and members of Future Georgia Educators (FGE). The University’s College of Education faculty and students will provide workshop sessions for high school students interested in becoming educators throughout the day. The day's activities will include a keynote address, engaging workshop sessions on teaching topics, a college fair with representatives from colleges across Georgia, a session with University admissions staff, a “PAGE Code of Ethics Knowledge Bowl” competition and additional competitions for affiliated FGE chapters. The event will take place in the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center, 847 Plant Drive, between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Registration is $10 and discounted registration is available for affiliated FGE chapters.Posted in My News
