Miss Georgia Southern University Send-Off Celebration Thursday
Miss Georgia Southern University, Reedi Hawkins, is traveling to Columbus next month to compete in the Annual Miss Georgia Pageant, and you’re invited to a Send-Off Celebration to help her prepare! The University Programming Board will host the event Thursday, May 30 from 2 - 3:30 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. Faculty, staff and students are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served. “Your attendance is greatly appreciated, as this will be the first and only time that Reedi will get to rehearse every aspect of the pageant including wardrobe changes and talent before her big day. We are extremely proud of Reedi and would like to send her off with lots of support from the Eagle Nation,” said Justin Jeffery, assistant director for student involvement with the Office of Student Activities.
