Student Employment Week starts April 17

Georgia Southern’s Student Employment Center (SEC), in the Department of Human Resources, invites all students to participate in Student Employment Week from April 17 to 20. “Students should definitely be interested in participating in any event of Student Employment Week,” said Yolanda Hernandez, human resources coordinator. “The events were planned with students in mind. We have both educational and entertaining aspects to the events we have scheduled. Free refreshments will be provided at all events -- Insomnia Cookies, Krispy Kreme and Three Tree Coffee Roasters have all agreed to provide refreshments. There will also be giveaways and prizes given during our wing-eating contest. Who doesn’t love free food and giveaways?” Learn vital skills, create and review your resume at the soft skills workshop and resume boot camp on Monday, April 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Russell Union (RU).
