True Blue Sweethearts
“My #TrueBlue sweetheart and I met at #GeorgiaSouthern in 1994. My husband Trevor, was a junior and I was a freshman. We were both dating someone at the time but would hang out as friends. My mom was in Statesboro on business one time and Trevor met us for lunch at Dingus Magee’s. It was during that lunch he told my mom he was going to marry me one day. He wasn’t just joking with my mom because we just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. We have two beautiful girls and are proud to be a #TrueBlue family. We actually have a brick on campus in one of the garden areas that Trevor had engraved with something special for us. When we come down for games we always make it a point to stop by “our” little piece of GSU.” –Nicole and Trevor Wheless
