Student Leaders Represent Georgia Southern at the Pi Sigma Epsilon Leadership Summit
The future of PSE’s Gamma Lambda Chapter is bright in the Parker College of Business as student leaders strengthen connections, enhance leadership skills, and align goals.

STATESBORO, GA (August 21, 2025) – The Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) Leadership Summit is the premier event for chapter leaders from across the nation to come together to collaborate, dream, and prepare for the upcoming academic year. Representing Georgia Southern University’s Gamma Lambda Chapter were the PSE student president, Mr. Jory Jarrells, and vice president of human resources, Mr. Jason Payne. Held in Milwaukee, WI, the two-day event offered a unique opportunity for PSE leaders to strengthen connections, enhance leadership skills, and align goals for the 2025-2026 year. It’s an opportunity to foster relationships within the PSE community, share ideas, and establish a positive tone for a successful year ahead.

“Attending the PSE Leadership Summit was such a valuable experience that combined professional development with personal growth,” explains Jory Jarrells, a senior majoring in sarketing from the Parker College of Business. “I gained new insights into leadership, teamwork, and communication that I’m excited to bring back and implement. Moving forward, I aim to utilize these insights to enhance communication within our chapter, foster stronger teamwork, and create a more engaging experience for all members.”
Held at the world headquarters of Rite-Hite, summit topics included – Stop Tolerating the Bare Minimum, Back to the Basics of Recruitment, Leading with Integrity & Purpose, and Strategic Collaboration Between Students & Faculty. Student leaders representing university chapters from across the U.S. also took part in a Faculty Advisor panel discussion, learned about the new PSE Code of Conduct, and witnessed the unveiling of the Fall 2025 Regional Conference Pro-Am Case.
“My time at the PSE Leadership Summit was exceptional! I had the opportunity to hear from fantastic speakers, learning to hone my leadership skills,” notes Jason Payne, a sophomore majoring in marketing with an emphasis in sales & sales management from the Parker College of Business. “Lessons learned at the Leadership Summit can be applied to my everyday life, through both my extracurricular activities and my academic studies. This event was a huge benefit towards my future in sales.”
